By accessing or using PactPen ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PactPen provides a digital document signing platform that allows users to create, send, and sign documents electronically. Electronic signatures created via PactPen carry the same legal weight as handwritten signatures in jurisdictions that recognize the ESIGN Act (US), eIDAS (EU), and equivalent legislation.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may not use the Service to sign fraudulent documents, impersonate others, send unsolicited communications, or engage in any activity that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Documents and signatures are stored securely with encryption at rest. We maintain audit logs and document hash verification to ensure integrity. You are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to request signatures from the parties you invite.
Plan limits are listed on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, including a 14-day money-back guarantee.
You retain ownership of all documents and content you create. You grant PactPen a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service.
PactPen's liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
