Questions

Is it free?

The Free plan lets you send 5 documents a month with no credit card. Pro is $9 a month (or $90 a year) for 100 documents a month and up to 5 team members, with a 14-day money-back guarantee.

What does PactPen not do?

PactPen is built for small teams. It does not offer single sign-on (SAML), notarisation or in-person signing, so if you need those, a larger suite is the better fit.

Are electronic signatures legally binding?

In most countries, yes. The US ESIGN Act and UETA, and the EU eIDAS regulation, recognise electronic signatures for most everyday contracts. PactPen records each signer's consent, the time, their IP address and a hash of the document, so you can show who signed what and that it has not changed since. Some documents, such as wills or property deeds in certain places, still need a handwritten signature or a notary, so check the rules for your document and country.
