Questions
Is my signature uploaded or stored?
No. The signature is drawn and turned into an image entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to PactPen or anyone else, and nothing is kept after you close the page.
Can I use this image to sign a contract?
You can paste it into a document, but an image of a signature on its own proves very little: anyone could have pasted it. For contracts, use an e-signature service that records who signed, when, and that they agreed to sign electronically. PactPen does that, free for 5 documents a month.
What file do I get?
A PNG with a transparent background, cropped to your signature, so it sits cleanly on top of a document or an email footer. That PNG is your signature file: keep it and reuse it.
Can I copy and paste my signature?
Yes. Press Copy instead of Download PNG, then paste it into Word, Google Docs, an email or an image editor. If your browser cannot copy images, download the PNG and insert it instead.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account and no watermark.
