  3. Press Convert to JPG. One page downloads as a JPG; several arrive together in a .zip.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Pages are drawn and saved as images inside your browser. Nothing is sent to PactPen or any other server.

JPG or PNG?

JPG makes smaller files and suits scans and photos. For pages of crisp text, charts or diagrams, PNG keeps edges perfectly sharp; use PDF to PNG instead.

Which quality should I pick?

Standard (150 DPI) is sharp on screens and keeps files small. High (300 DPI) is print quality, with files about four times larger.

Why do I get a .zip file?

A PDF with several pages becomes several images, and browsers handle one download far better than dozens. Open the .zip to find an image for each page, numbered in order.

Can I convert a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Remove the password first.

Is there a limit?

Files up to 25 MB and up to 100 pages.
