Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built inside your browser. Nothing is sent to PactPen or any other server.
What happens to transparent areas?
Transparent parts of a PNG show as white page, as they would when printed. The image itself is kept at full quality.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 or Letter if the PDF will be printed or sent to an office that expects standard pages; the image is centred with a margin. Fit makes each page exactly the size of its image, with no border.
Does it reduce image quality?
No. Images are placed in the PDF as they are, without recompressing them. A small image is never stretched beyond its own size.
Can I convert a photo of a signed document?
Yes, that is a common use. For contracts you send to others, an e-signature service gives a stronger record than a photo of a paper signature.
Is there a limit?
Up to 50 images at a time, each up to 20 MB. JPG and PNG are supported.
