Questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser. The file never leaves your device, which matters for ID cards, certificates and other personal documents.
Will a one-page scan fit in 100 KB?
Yes. Even a page packed with text fits at about 100 DPI, which keeps normal print readable; a certificate or ID card with less on it fits at a higher resolution.
My document has several pages. Will it still fit?
It depends on how much is on each page. Pages full of text need a lower resolution to share 100 KB, and small print can blur: the tool warns you when that happens. Check whether the form wants every page, and if not, upload only the ones it asks for (Split PDF can pull them out).
Why can I no longer select the text?
To reach a small size, each page is redrawn as an image. If the original was already small enough with its text kept, you get that version instead, and the page tells you.
The form rejected the file even though it is under 100 KB. Why?
Some forms also limit the page count, or accept only certain file types. Check the form’s instructions; the size itself will be under the limit.
